Our Motorhome Adventures – Dean Nurseries

This is a C&CC CS located close to Blackpool and, more importantly to us, just a few minutes drive from our Westby lock-up.

The CS has everything you could want except a shower, the toilet is clean and has everything you need except hand towels. There is an elsan point, water point and rubbish bins. Grey water is used to water the many tubs of colourful flowers dotted around the site.

The owner, Penny, is very friendly and helpful.

This site is one of the best of this type we have visited except for the Moss Hey Kennels located literally next door. The dogs spent the evening practicing for a concert they gave that night or should I say concerts. Each concert starred a solo artist and several performances by the entire cast. The concerts were scheduled at around 90 minute intervals to ensure the entertainment would last the entire night yet allowing sleep for at least an hour between each performance.

Sue would return I most definitely would not.
