An hotel less than five crow flying miles from Halifax town centre but as rural as you could ever wish for in every direction.
The car park was crowded when we arrived but a local approached us saying he was in our space and would move which he did. The pub itself was as crowded as the car park but the staff were friendly and helpful. The food very good and reasonably priced.
